Playbook

Now a third of the way through the regular season and I still feel like Elliot and Scott haven't opened up the playbook to what we are used to seeing. With all the DW runs and jet sweeps and trick plays, I feel like they will open it up next Saturday and will handle their business.

Any thoughts?

Thought we saw it creeping open in the first half then of course you know Dabo, shut it down immediately aha. Or at least I hope so after that 2nd half offensive performance.

Teams with any talent at all know how to defend the zone reads and wide receiver screens.... I think the O line is also somewhat handicapped when many plays are run / pass options.... Can't get a push and opposing D's just have to play gaps and get minimal penetration to stop the inside run.... Heavy package will be important in short yardage situations next week....
