Early Morning Play @ the Korn Ferry Event in Indiana

After yesterday's rain delay and darkness, Billy Kennerly needed a -1 score on his final 5 holes to make the Cut . . .

After 4 consecutive Pars he approached his finally attempt, the Par 5 9th Hole . . . Long story made short . . . He birdied it and slid into the weekend portion sitting right on the Cut Line!!!

Billy joins Ben Martin who also made the Cut @ -2 . . .

Crisp and Straight for two more days Tigers!!!!!!!

The evolution of the game in recent years to such an emphasis on power has hurt Billy’s chances to reach the Tour and Ben’s chances to stay on it. For example, Ben ranks 195 on tour in driving distance. He and Billy need to putt well and rank high in GIR in order to compensate.

is 558 yards . . . He reached the green in two and 2-putted for his birdie!!!

Billy shot -3 today and climbed to a T-49th Place

Ben managed an Even Par Round and sits in a T-58th Place
