I just got an email from HR titled "HR - Resume Needed". They said after an audit they found they do not have a resume for me and about 15 other people that were cc'd. I assume we're about to be cut loose and oh hey btw since you just updated your resume you can use that in your search for another one.
On another note I've decided to go back to school and work towards a marketing degree.

don't do it. Get some actual tangible skills if you're gonna pay the $$$ to go back to school.
90% of the marketing majors I knew ended up in a sales job.
