Picking up blitzes and catching passes in the flats will be

important for our running backs today. Hot Rod should have success running today, but he's only caught a handful of passes since he's been here and he's not been a great blocker to this point.

Howard had a great catch and run last week and Brooks had a great catch against Georgia. Does another running back step up or does Hot Rod go off? Should be interesting to watch.

I'm interested to see if, given our plethora of lighter faster tight ends, we get our tight ends out wide to help block in that quick screen game.

Hot Rod was the back that picked up the blitzing LB'er on the 4th and 16 play in the bowl game against LSU. While it wasn't a devastating block it was good enough to give Tajh that tenth of a second more to let the WRs get into their routes long enough to get open. No running back really blocks they just need to get in the way.....
