when the playoff picture gets a little clearer. Yeah I say they will be in within 5 years. It was down to the Big 12 or the ACC and as painful it is too say, Swoffie got it done. Everyone step away from the ledge for the beginning of this, ND will be full ACC very soon

I'd say this agreement seemingly will be best judged by that criteria. Does ND join as a full member or not. Seems we are betting they do. We'll see how it works itself out.

Reading the ND Press Release...there are games they will not give up. I don't see it happening unless they are desperat.

there's been speculation for YEARS that ND would join a conference in football, but it never happens..............it will continue to be this way until people stop catering to it.

Wouldn't returning to 8 conference games per year help them come in as a full member? I know we'd prefer that.

Plus, their fanbase is as stubborn as T-net  They (fans & alum) are adamant about remaining independent in football, even if the writing on the wall is clear. The admin at ND knows that they have to make the full move eventually and this is the way to ease into it.
Or I could be totally full of it, who knows these days...

I can't stand the thought of ND getting special treatment. Of course, we've been pretending to NOT give UNC special treatment for years, I think doing it conspicuously for a school is an improvement.

ND $25 million/annually to keep them. ND's current recruiting class is at number 4 in the nation.
