Peyton manning did not win heisman

Remember back in '97 (or therebouts), he was by far the best player in the country. But Charles Woodson ( a receiver and db) won the award. But Manning was also the first pick in the nfl draft. Why? Because he is more valuable than a running back or receiver on any good team! I have not had much respect for the value of a Heisman since.
