Peyton fined $8,000 for taunting DJ Swearinger

Manning was fined for his actions in last Saturday's preseason game against the Houston Texans, getting in the face of Houston safety D.J. Swearinger following a 29-yard touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders in the second quarter. Earlier, Swearinger's blow to the helmet of Broncos receiver Wes Welker resulted in a concussion for Welker.
"I accept the fine. It's money well spent," Manning told Mortensen.

Awesome response!!! Gotta love it!! Saw it happen and was so glad Peyton got right in that dang thug's face - just wish he could have leveled him!! Will NEVER, EVER forget him standing over Ellington or going off on Dabo on the sidelines. Have been waiting for someone to deck him good since that day

No one says anything to Swearinger when he acts like an idiot = everyone is scared of Swearinger.
Someone calls him out in front of his team and thousands of people = they're letting Swearinger get in their head.
Got it? It's a built in defense so that the thug doesn't have to be accountable for his actions. Hilarious.

Thug? Obviously you never watched the Tiger teams of the 1980's, huh? Yes, Swearinger is in Peyton's head....he lost his temper and his legendary cool, lol! You're still holding a grudge because he whirly-birded Ellington!

his buddy welker a concussion. He let the thug know he didn't appreciate it. nothing more, nothing less.
If you think someone like the thug can get in Peytons head, especially with all of the greats that he's competed against you obviously know NOTHING.

I get it. . .in your mind, you must tolerate a$$ishness or the jacka$$ is "in your head." Always an encouraging win/win for the a$$. I guess if I were an a$$, I'd like it to be that way too. Unfortunately for you, reality says, "Naw."

I guess you missed the point. Not surprised. "He's in his head" has got to be he most retarded excuse for getting punked down I've ever heard.
And I am, in fact, a Broncos fan. This has nothing to do with a grudge I hold against an average NFL player.

Don't forget that we're responding to Motor City Bunghole, and he is therefore in our heads. Cugrad2011, I think you're totally in my head right now too.
I'm watching the Gamecocks game later, so Spurrier is clearly in my head as well.
