don't underestimate the needling and getting in the head of the opponent all game long. CW42 was talking junk from the day he stepped on campus. And i think it makes a difference. It loosens up your teammates and makes your opponent think a step to quick because they're either intimidated or mad.

We had alot of new guys on the DL this year and they all except maybe rudolph seemed to have a more quiet, go about you business style. Which is fine but it pumps me up when you got some dirty dogs on that line shakin that head and talking crap all game. Not to the extent of getting flagged obviously but to the extent of changing your opponents mindset.

Go watch Lamar Jackson in 2016 at Clemson and you'll see a flustered superstar, at least early on in the game. He settled down later but we won by 4 or 5 points and that qtr and a half of being a little frustrated and pushed around helped keep a score or two of that board early.

You've gotta think with the way things went this season that Dabo decided he would never be short on quality Dline players again. There may not have ever been a better back to back season of Dline signees for any team ever, which pretty much guarantees we won't be playing three man fronts out of necessity any time soon.
