Having lived in Texas for the past 3 years, I have gained some first hand insight into what people outside of South Carolina think about the coots.

For example, yesterday I was assisting a couple in my office. CFB was brought up during the conversation. I told them I was from SC and the wife responds with "oh the two big teams there are Clemson and ... umm ... err ... those other guys." I probably should have said "The Citadel?" but it was early and I was still working on my first cup of coffee.

I had another client tell me today that her son had just started at USC. I asked her if he was enjoying it and she said he really likes California.

I post on some other sites that are made up of every fan base in the nation.
The Coots are known for sucking and being CLEMSONs little brother from the PAC to the Sunbelt.
Not just Tiger nation but every fan base knows exactly what we have to deal with.
