Thank you for the info.
It seems that he gives us less chance at Gilbert than many here.
I know Tigernet can get excited when a big time player shows interest, but it seemed to me like Gilbert had become a Bama/Clemson battle and it was pretty much 50/50. Maybe things have changed.
I am also surprised at his Burch prediction because recent noise has come from a strong UGA push. Like he said though, it's hard to tell with Burch.

It would be great to close on any of these guys. I was just at a TD Club luncheon and met Arik Gilbert. Nice young man, freakish athlete. I mentioned to some UGA fans that Clemson was in the mix for him. They were condescendingly dismissive at our chances. I reminded them that we have a good track record of pulling top players out of GA ??.

It is all an act. The put on that show to hide their envy.

I'm pretty sure we are selling him on the idea that he could be THE TE that we need to mix the TE back into the passing game.
Our OCs are the same ones who used Jordan Legette quite successfully. I think we are in prime position to offer playing time and show him how we want to use him.
Watch Alabama play (his other leader according to the article) and you won't see much going to the TE in the passing game either. All they have to do is show OJ Howard to show what they can do with a top pass-catching TE though.

Leggett was our last TE that acted like a "receiver" not just a blocker. Ours now are not capable of such and Arik is different as he is a TE that is more than serviceable at receiving as well. Kind of obvious and was a talking point all off season and so far this season.

Flowe is highly probable at this point. Relax.
Gilbert is highly unlikely. But he's so good don't go to sleep on him.
Nobody has a bloomin clue on Burch. I would forget about him until some legit information comes out.
