People usually regret quick emotional decisons

Sep 26, 2018, 11:59 AM

I get that he is hurt. He has pretty much zero chance of playing QB in the NFL. Yes - he can play one yr for somebody - as essentially an outsider. He is a Clemson Man (a graduate), and that can never be taken away. This is strictly a football/ego decision, and I just don't see any long term benefit to him. He let his team down, for sure. I honestly hope it doesn't cause locker room issues. A pretty sad situation. As for him "not getting a chance", clearly not the case. He should watch some film, and realize there is no shame in being displaced (as a starter) by a truly special talent. He would have played a bunch, and possibly won a natty. I expect he will regret this one day.

And of course, you know first hand that his decision was quick and emotional?
Yes, many moons from now he will come up to you say you were correct.
Please let us know when that day comes!

Saying he didn't get a fair shot? Saying it was a slap in the face?

Yeah...I'd call that quick and emotional.

There's something in these hills.

I couldn't imagine ever leaving Clemson on my own.

CJ Spiller said it best after the 09 Music City Bowl: "I just love Clemson too much."
