Paul does not understand the Palmetto state

Before USuC joined the SEC they were nothing. New Mexico State or Vanderbilt like. Heck they didn't even win a bowl game until the 1990's. Clemson was, is, and continues to be the premiere football program in the state. Becoming an SEC team doesn't make a frog a prince. I mean a stretch record of 0-21? The worst 2 loses of a SEC team to a non SEC team? Unheard of in the SEC. But here's the thing, USuC fans , all bloated up, act like they are the better program since they play in the SEC. And at the top is Bama. And yet all Clemson fans see with Bama is more fantasy and myth just like USuC. When they play teams with great athletes, coaches, fans, and facilities things don't always support the myth. We really see Bama for what they are-just another program not a monster. They can be beaten. But since we have ripped the mask off, Paul is seeing what Clemson sees and that has made him lose his mind. How dare a team outside the SEC, and a Southern team too, should do this. In his mind USuC should dominate our state- like UGA has dominated GT over the last 30 years or so- and Clemson needs to learn its place just like GT. Fantasies applied from a conference built on them shatter in the clarity of real history, real dominance, and the real order of things in this state and now, it seems beyond. Paul you do not understand the Palmetto state, the true nature of the SEC, or the Clemson program and its coaches, players, and passionate fans. We are your monster! Too bad. GO TIGERS!
