Pass Interference quandary

So.. do any db coaches actually coach coverage techniques?

Seems like week in and week out almost any team except UA and UGA have 3-6 PI penalties that keep drives alive, yield chunk yardage and generally lead to defeat. You pretty much get a "dang it, but whatever" reaction from coaches and a "who, me?" reaction from the db. And life goes on to the next game. No improvement game to game.

Is coverage technique even coached anymore?

IMHO, UA or UGA will sling the belt over their shoulder at season's end because top to bottom they (Saban and Smart) are the most laser focused on technique fundamentals play in and play out.
