PSA: DIY Tooth Repair

I broke the composite bonding off of one of my K9 teeth last night because I bit into a strawberry that was frozen solid.
I tried to superglue it back on in an epic failure.
I cleaned my teeth, dried them, and prepped the surfaces for gluing.
I put a dab of super glue on the tooth part, and promptly dropped it into my mouth and glued my finger to my tooth.
After getting my finger un-stuck, I had to take a file and scrape the glue residue and finger skin off of my tooth.
It was worth a shot.
I guess I'll go see the dentist next week and get this fixed.

teeth since I was 6, maybe 7 years old. It sucks so bad.
The #### things chip and crack about 1.5/year. When I was younger and playing sports/fighting, it was like 3-4 times a year.
My dentist fixes/redoes them for about $150 so it's not overly expensive, but just a pain, not to mention the embarrassment of walking around with a busted grill. This one is off to the side (K9), so I may not do anything about it for a while. Wife didn't notice it at all yesterday, nor did anybody at work. It feels funny in my mouth (that's what she said), which is enough to make me get it fixed.
I thought the strawberry was softer. I had a cup full of frozen berries I grabbed out of the freezer. The blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries had all softened, and I underestimated the thermal mass that the strawberry had. As soon as it broke I got that familiar sick feeling in my stomach.
I figured for once, I would try and fix it my self. Nope.
