PLEASE! Everyone with outdoor pets...........

Need to show a little attention to them the next few days.......Make 100% certain they have plenty of water and plenty of shade to stay in......Many pets will die from lack of attention and cruelty during this extreme heat spell we're going through---don't let yours be amongst them.

I've got six new housemates for the weekend (the smallest of which is 40 lbs). Can't have any of my puppies spending more than a few minutes out in that heat this weekend.

and filled it with water for my dog to drink, but he just plays in it which is all good lol. I just filled a good sized bucket up for him to drink. I went to give him food at first and he looked at me like, "I dont want no dang food.....you know how hot it is out here!"

Thanks for posting this...it was brutal today and will be tomorrow in the Conway/Myrtle Beach area...I know my dog will be happy tomorrow after the grooming and the bath that will be coming her way

Agreed. I am watching mine closely. Let them swim in the pond earlier, and I have water buckets right beside where they are laying. 1's in the garage, 1's under a tree. I let them inside for a few hours as well during the worst part of the day yesterday, really seemed to help.
We lost a dog last year during the worst of the summer heat. Wouldn't want that to happen to anyone else.
