Sorry if Germans, but it seems that DJ must have been starting on short notice? I haven’t heard anyone talk about how impressive this is, but it sounds like even on Wednesday, TL would have been getting the 1st team reps. So DJ just calmly stepped in with maybe 1 day of practice with the starters and performed pretty flawlessly. The exchange with Etienne might have been due to his lack of familiarity with each other.

I see this team building confidence over the next week, and the defense wanting to show up for Trevor and for DJ. I also foresee a lot of Trenton Simpson and Jake Venable blitzes ??
