Out here deer hunting this morning

Wondering how everyone's season has been going. Mines been really slow until last week. I've been seeing bucks of all sizes, a few wall hangers, rut action, and just a lot of movement period. Tomorrow should be the better morning for the weekend, but on my places the rut is in full swing and it's never a bad day to be in the woods.

they'll run if you get closer than 50 feet or so and you are making noise. There aren't quite as many this year, but we still seen them daily.

Been a good season in York County and a good start to duck season this morning! About to leave the blind and head to Tiger Town for my 95th consecutive Clemson home game!

Nice bucks. I hunt York and Fairfield Counties but I haven't killed anything close to that!

I see them when I ride my motorcycle, but I just slow down and let them run back into the woods. Gonna ride ~ 400 miles on Monday, so I'll report back with my sightings. 
Any bear sightings? I see those too. lol - sounds like a lot of fun out there guys. Stay safe.

Our bears are probably gonna turn in for a little while here in the mountains, after this weekend. I hope. Been a pain this year....they are everywhere and have been super persistent trying to get into outside cooler and freezer at the restaurant. Mom and 4 cubs are cute, but man what a mess they can make! I was slow to get this and that secured and every morning, they had gotten into something else. Mom is big!

And no bears this year, though I have seen them before.

I've seen more deer this year than I ever have honestly. Granted, I've hunted almost everyday but 5 or 6 days since bow season sept 15. We've killed 2 nice bucks and a couple does. Got a couple nice shooters on camera, hopefully we can get on them over thanksgiving

this is why I just hit them with my car, the meat tastes better too when you surprise them with your fender.

on a drive between Seneca and Myrtle Beach.
All had been hit by cars, dead beside the road.
Amazing how many are getting hit on the Interstates these days.

The only thing i have seen this season in berkeley county is a bunch of small does and some young bucks. The number of deer i have seen has droped considerably over the last few years.
