While Spiers has gotten plenty of my negative attention over the last 2 years watching our games, I'd like to commend him for his great game against those nuts from the north. I think that he averaged 44.9 yds for the game. Let's give him some credit, and hope that his big boots continue. We surely need him.

And he averaged 44.3 in three kicks against 'Bammer last January. He steps it up when it counts.

Other than 2017 Playoff against Bamma, he was as bad as the rest of the team that game.

All you do realize that where he punts from on the field has a lot to do with his net average. He does exactly what the coaches tell him to do. Punting is not simply kicking it as high and as far as you can. That's how you give up punt returns for tds.
