Third out at home is ok in the baseball "book". You want to be a little more aggressive with two outs because the sac fly is out of play and the runner at third is less likely to score.

Yea our performance so far this year has been awful we really need to look at firing some coaches. If Football lost 4 games in a season it wouldnt be excusable Baseball should be held to the same standard.

He got our important insurance run canned by 5 steps at the plate....he was out earlier in the game as well...and 2 runners canned at home vs BC....you don't think that's a lot?

Ok so because we've only lost 4 games that excuses the third base coach from sending runners and making unnecessary outs. Because we've only lost 4 games it just doesn't matter at all and will never cost us in the future. Nevermind we would have had runners at 2nd and 3rd with Williams at the plate, giving us a great chance to score a run that we now need since they tied it in the ninth. Gotcha. Nothing matters because we've only lost 4 games.

LOL at DERP - this is the "goober" that sits back and calls anyone who complains a "goober" 'cause they have an issue with a decision that was made and complain on a freakin' message board. The disdain is skrong in this one. Prolly just add him to the ignore list - or better yet - DERP should add EVERYONE to his ignore list.
That said - I'm not calling our 3rd base coach anything especially since his 'hitting advice" is supposedly excellent and well-received by our team. But - sending Beer was wrong IMO. He's also sent some others that really only made it due to a mistake by the opposing team. Bad choices all IMO. However, I thought that Lee was probably just wanting to test the limits of our team. We've also tried to stretch some hits to a triple that resulted in outs, but I accepted that as pressuring our opponents.

Tyler Jackson has improved with every start since his first start. Now hes 4-1 with a 4.24 ERA only a couple starts from dropping into the 3's, which would be great for a weekday starter.
Tyler Jackson with a 4-1 record and a 4.24 ERA is better then alot of other top programs around the nation.
#1 Oregon State has actually only played 1 mid week game this year.
#2 Louisville midweek starter is 1-1 with a 4.24 ERA
#4 TCU midweek starter is 3-2 5.70 ERA
#6 LSU midweek starter is 3-2 with a 4.09 ERA
#7 Usuck Midweek starts 2-0 4.70 ERA
#9 Florida midweek starter is 1-0 with a 3.55 ERA
#12 FSU midweek starter is 0-2 4.60 ERA
Ya but we should definlty start Paul Campbell (5.19 ERA) instead of Tyler Jackson....

greg starbuck, "the idiot 3rd base coach" is often talked about as a great hire by monte. he is a volunteer coach, which means he dont make much money in salary. guessing he has forgotten more baseball than most of the goobers on this board.
