entrapment. To entrap someone, you have to basically convince them to commit a crime. If you put up a billboard that said, "Caution, highway patrol does not monitor or enforce speed limits, next 30 miles" and then pulled over speeders, that's entrapment. You induce them to commit a crime.
Asking someone to answer a question and then seeing if they lie is not entrapment. Even if you contemplate telling them you already know the answer before you ask the question.

Those FBI agents who questioned him at the Whitehouse reported that they did not believe he had lied to them. Reports say the FBI threatened Flynn's son who had a newborn to get Flynn's confession.

He was wiretapped ina phone meeting with a Russian. He said he didn’t have the meeting. He got caught. If you lied and then plead guilty to it.

He had already failed to disclose his foreign relationships, and the FBI had plans for if he admitted that or if he lied when confronted about it. It's baffling how much of what happened you choose to ignore.

- Concocted last ditch effort to get him on something.
- Interviewed him.
- He said something open to interpretation.
- They said he lied.
- He said he didn't.
- They threatened his son if he didn't confess.
- He confessed.
He has neither committed nor been accused of any crime, other than the lie to the FBI, which was not a lie but a coerced confession of one. The national police did this for political reasons. If all this happened in Peru we would call it a coup attempt.

The FBI knew he met with Russian. The FBI debated whether to tell him they knew before they asked him about it. They chose not to. They asked. He said no. They had him on tape in a wiretap. Not entrapment.

Because Flynn publicly called ISIS "radical jihadists". This was counter to the pc culture of the Obama administration. Remember Obamas remark about ISIS being the JV team? Looks like Flynn was right.
