Honestly, I'd like to see him talk to someone like #### Bumpass at TCU. They've consistently had top defenses in the country with sub-par talent.
I think Shannon deserves an interview as it appears he was actually pushing against the Nevin Shapiro situation http://miami.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1253198
I'm sure there are a ton of other qualified candidates out there who would love an interview.
If they decide they want BV after interviewing several people, I'd feel much more comfortable. I'm not a huge fan of his, but I could live with it if he came out on top after a real job search.

interview. While I like Shannon and think he would be a very good choice for DC, until he has been completely cleared of any worng doing by the NCAA in the whole Miami/Shapiro debacle, Dabo wouldn't hire him and the the CUBOT would never approve it.

I kept saying the delay was on our end doing the background check and contract negotiations...but people are just too #### impatient and want everything right then and there and that's just NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!
