about what ESPN rankings, pundits, or irrelevant polls say about a 20 straight win, currently 5-0 defending national champion after week 5 of the season.

So true. Rankings are for media purposes and creating hype for TV and Newspapers and, and and...With College Football, I can watch just about any team / any game / any given Thursday/Friday/Saturday. The NFL - which of course is not in the business of rankings - seems to be the sport that needs the hype. I am limited to a handful of games every Sunday in contrast. November 5 is the first set of rankings that matter and December 8 is the ultimate set of rankings. Until then - enjoy the games everybody.

Really wish some of these posters would cut it out. The dang sky isn't falling. Reality is setting in on some of the new starters is all. They will have to work/grind and get better. Everybody is going to give you their best effort and play above their skill level. Get use to it accept the challenge and it galvanizes you to the point "you can beat anybody"!
