One thing that has not been mentioned for the road to 2020

when is the last time a republican took the white house without winning Florida? Seems this will come into play in 2020... Not olny will a lot of pissedoff angry people be voting, but the governor can no longer use the old stand by of scrubbing people off the rolls because their names are similar to convicted felons.

All depends upon just who wins Survivor: Democratic Primary. If the leftist crowd actually wins the DEMS will have nominated the only 2 people on the face of the planet Trump can defeat. Lots of old boomers down there who are not bent that far left.

almost all of them are more appealing than Hillary so I am not so sure it will hurt. There are literally a million more votes in a state that has been decided by a few thousand votes in recent elections which will be bad news for republican senate seats, the congress, state elections, and the whitehhouse.

Umm, not so much on the appealing issue. Old folks are not fans of the Democratic "socialist" agenda, not ones with any money. I know you are a fan of all voting Balm and in it's pure sentiment is fine that everyone has a vote. Those new votes are solidly from the camp of needing govt. help and as such I would prefer they stay at home. Once the sheer numbers of folks needing the govt. to breathe overcomes those that actually work and pay the bulk of taxes the vote is meaningless. Vote for free stuff because it does not affect them.
Currently with each new day Warren adds an item to spend from her tax the net worths over $50m, there was not enough going to be generated originally and she keeps adding more. Somehow she lacks basic math skills yet has no issue promising more things. Old Bernie advocated for Nationalizing Companies in the 70's and 80's, he also has math issues and I for one do not believe he has ever given up on the Nationalize thing. Biden is appealing to older voters but IF he picks a young far lefter he is doomed because of his age. Also the pandering of a Abrams pick would be folly. All I can say is nominate someone that is more centrist, pick a qualified center left VP and I will vote for them. Pick loons and Trump will get my vote, cast while firmly holding my puke bag to my mouth.

I see that you are incapable of an informed discussion. I tried.

Notice I put it in quotation marks? Simply to point out that there is a difference of real and misinformed?

No Balm I did not, if pointing out the realities of what the DEMS said past and present is your issue then that issue lies with you alone. Really, not trying to be confrontational on this but was trying to point out that Florida is a mecca for older boomers, you know the ones that will turn out to vote. While the Socialist term is broadly misused it does resonate in certain age groups more so than others. If you think that will not be at the forefront of all discussions during the camapign with it's acompanying ads on TV you are mistaken. Yes this plays in to voting patterns and could ultimately affect the outcome. Once they die off it may be different.
As to your use of an article on felons restored voting rights I replied to it that way , voting for free stuff is all the rage when one has no skin in the great income tax game. Is it the right thing to do after one has served his time, based upon many items it would be a yes from my point of view. I do differ in the view that it is a great thing though. Simply because, as you correctly view it, they will be voting DEM as they need the govt. to survive in large part imo.
It is not red or blue for me but a simple desire to actually be told what the costs are, how to pay for them in a turhtful way and to uphold the promises made of already taken money from taxpayers. Sure we all would love to have rivers that run with Skittles and Unicorns roam free but at $22T in debt we gotta face the cold hard realities. Just tell the public the #### truth becuse none currently are and that is backed up by and large by looking to tax rates/fees and VAT in the EU .
