One thing is clear... Pac-12 is out

The Pac-12 has no respect (nor should they). Even if Washington wins out, at #12 it would take complete mayhem for them to move up into the top 4. Beyond that, USC at #17 and Stanford at #21 with no good out of conference wins are their best placed teams.

Washington plays a crap out of conference schedule and USC got destroyed by Notre Dame. Stanford has a shot at Notre Dame, but they've already got 2 losses. The Pac-12 is out unless there is complete mayhem.

they only have 3 OOC games as opposed to 4

and most of them play good out on conference games. USC and UCLA are the only 2 teams in the nation that have never played an FCS team.

Yes and Pac 12 is a level below teams from the South.
Don't penalize the other teams in the South for a very weak SEC East, though.

Stanford probably has a shot at making it if they win out, which would mean sweeping the Washington schools, beating ND, and probably USC in the PAC 12 team, one of their two losses.

Good chance at least one 2 loss team makes it this year.
