I’m expecting our Tigers to finesse their way to the championship game. The 700 yards of finesse Saturday was pretty good!

Howard apparently, does not know the meaning of "finesse". In it's broadest definition it means to outsmart your opponent. It has nothing to do with, what I believe he is attempting to insinuate, only "smash mouth " football. I would tend to believe all coaches resort to "finesse" at times, some much more than others. Why do coaches look at lots of film? Isn't it to learn as much as they can about an opponents offensive and defensive schemes to determine solutions? And to counter our opponents schemes, our coaches develop counter measures, hence we resort to "finesse". Those of you who play poker probably resort to a bit of finesse during the game.

Great post, Joe. Hey Dez, your idea of a clapback must be different than my idea of a clapback.

I hate the new trend to say "Red Area" instead of Redzone. Did somebody trademark redzone or something? FFS it drives me crazy.

Red Area?

Oct 7, 2018, 6:53 PM

I only ever hear about that in the Summer when talking about "moist" and "friction".

It's pronounced "L Heff A" and it means "The Boss".
