heading to Athens with no ticket...worst case scenario

and I don't get in the game. Is there a bar within reasonable walking distance to watch, if so, is there a bar that clemson fans have agreed to show up together at or not?

Most of your scalpers will be lining the roads leading into Athens. They will probably be the most expensive, but a sure ticket. As you get closer to the stadium there will be fewer (fear of getting caught) and for this game ... probably equally as expensive. Since it is such a big game expect to pay $200. After the first quarter they will be cheaper and may still be a few for sale. It will just depend on how bad you want to get in and how deep you would like to dig.
Season ticket holder will more than likely not have any to sell ...
Have fun, be safe and if you go to the Blind Pig make sure you have a DD ... It is a party! (... in my younger days.)

the street from The Blind Pig. Can not tailgate in the lot, but the lot at TBP will be hopping. You will be just about 1/2 mile from the stadium (up hill walk) You will pass through several lots of boosters that will bark at you, but can be very friendly when approached. You will come up on the stadium by the railroad tracks where the Tigers will exit the buses and enter into the locker room area.

You can get a ticket on the bridge right before the game. 100bucks, never paid more than 125.00 Go to probably 2 games a year, never have tickets in hand when I go.

I have the same experiences as you do, but just thought these might be higher. Personally, I never sold any of my tickets above face value and almost had an opposing fan kiss me on the lips ... When I sold him two tickets in the Club Level ... he had his 7 year old son with him and it was his first college game.
