As in, Slac family is alive and well. Slac house is toast, 100 yr old oak landed on 120 yr old house. Had the roof spine not held, yours truly woulda been dead as a door nail. In the process, same oak demolished the back porch and is still precariously leaning in a way that if the porch gives completely, the garage will be gone as well.

Got shid to do, wanted let er’body know we alive down here. Will dip in again.

Glad you were in a well built house too. Sorry ‘bout the loss but I doubt a newer house would have held up.
