*snicker* "struggled with Wake"... But beat that Wake that ended 3rd in the Atlantic last year (Louisville was 2nd... How are they looking?), that has only lost just that game.

Lol, I get a laugh at the guys that answer which team looks to be the harder with which team is next. GT is next, but BC looks like a better team. Only advantage GT has is playing in Atlanta, which had been our Achilles Heel...BC still looks better than GT.

I don't think they are overlooked this year. The struggle last year was defense. Expect the D to set the tone early, regardless the offense. Hopefully that is fixed by then, but betting they get revenge on Dungey with the film they have now. Don't forget, they said after that game Syracuse did things that wasn't on film.... Bet that's much less this time.

I worry more about NC State. I'm not a big believer in much that they have this year except their passing game but Finley is in year 6 and if we blow coverages he could get his. With Doeren's general nonsense it's probably more likely that we finally stomp them into the ground.

BC covered the spread against Wake. I was hoping for a more convincing victory, but they still won on the road in the ACC despite two big special teams miscues.

Any game in which our coaching staff decides to take the week off scares me.
I don't think they took the week off before A&M but apparently, each one took a different personal day off during the week.
I said it in another post the week after the game,no way that game should have come down to a pylon saving the day.

Early returns say BC is going to be a stout contest .
Seasons have ups and downs , long way to go .
Maybe FSU becomes FSU again soon . NC State has a good enough QB to be a test.
BC for now , from my perspective.

Special team miscues, but BCs run defense looks weak. Honestly if we lose a regular season game it will because we lost it other than someone else outplaying us. Our hardest game will be Bama (or maybe UGa/OSU).

Boston College could be but very unlikely. They have a very tough 3 game stretch that ends with Clemson. BC hosts Miami, travels to VT, and then will see the Tigers. May be out of gas by then, unless they pull out two wins before Clemson makes the trip.
