was talking about "how long before someone sits out the playoffs to protect themselves for the draft".....what a loon..not one player is going to set out of a game that matters

UGA's Top DB bailed on the Sugar Bowl. It might not never happen at Clemson, but you'll see someone sit out a Playoff game one day soon.

The day someone sits out in college playoffs, should be the day where NCAA should make it mandatory for 4 years removed from high school to announce for the draft.

there are only two bowl games that matter that was cotton bowl classic and orange bowl this year..sugar bowl is just another game now days..i get a sense in order to make all of the new years six bowls matter again they will soon expand

As a business move, if you didn’t implement some sort of rule Your product quality would decline if these players decide not to play in be playoffs. It would be stupid if the NCAA didn’t do anything at all!

If they did it sure would not send the best message to a future employer. Maybe they wouldn't give 100 % all the time either.

Team either matters or it doesn’t. Someone eventually will decide that a playoff game means as much as the New Mexico Bowl when compared to their opportunity to make millions at the next level.

Some of the players sitting out bowl games, are playing in senior bowls / all star bowls ect. later on ??

I thought the reason for sitting out was to keep from getting injured ??

No, the politically correct reason is to “prepare” for the draft. Thus, the all-star games are ok.
