Dr. Fauci has been and remains a trusted advisor to President Trump."
So, although this is a weird response, no, Trump wasn't calling Lorraine's Tweet fake news. So all of you in here clamoring that he was doing that, and calling people stupid for not seeing it, were dead wrong.
Trump was agreeing with Lorraine on her criticism of Fauci's statement and he didn't notice the #FireFauci part.
Their response is dumb, but it proves people on this board wrong.

I don't like Trump. If the Democrats could bring someone to the table worth a ####, I'd vote for them.
But to think that Trump was tweeting something negative about Fauci is pure fantasy or ignorance.

Trump was echoing Lorraine's statements where she criticized Fauci's CNN interview. That is blatantly clear, and the White House just completely threw out y'all's "He was 'fake newsing' Lorraine and #FireFauci!"

If Obama had retweeted something that said #blackpanterparty you people would have been all over it and rightly so.
Frankly, I think yall are at least a little ashamed of this behavior towards an American Hero like Dr. Fauci and so you're trying to spin it somehow.

This story is a nothing burger manufactured, produced and distributed to drive a wedge between Pence's team and DJT. It didn't work.
Your belief that Trump didn't see the '#fireFauci,' hashtag is a product of your mind. You've changed your position on Trump's tweet too. You presented the tweet as a promise from Trump to fire Fauci. Now you're contradicting yourself and criticizing those who hit way closer to the bullseye.
I've always figured Fauci was going to get fired. My statement that this the tweet wasn't a promise to fire him.
