Of all the SEC dumpster fires burning

Dec 21, 2015, 3:20 PM

Which one is the most likely to rebound?
1) LSU
2) Auburn
3)Texas A&M
4) Missouri
5) Georgia
6) lamecocks
My money is LSU. Maybe Georgia

I would lean to LSU, but they don't have a QB and haven't recruited on in 15 or 16.

I will say UGA because of Eason. A QB can do wonders for a team. Lucky for Smart he has one he didn't have to recruit.

Hard to bet against Georgia. They have the talent.

LSU will win the SEC next season.

UGa made almost as bad a coaching decision as $CU***

I agree that they could have gotten any coach anywhere , except one. And they choice a unproven guy.

Firing Richt was a mistake IMO....

Dec 21, 2015, 3:52 PM

a mistake that I believe will come back to them in the butt.

Just always saw him as Georgia's Tommy Bowden. Think he'll do a lot better in Miami. Don't think his heart was at uga.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Nah....

Dec 21, 2015, 4:18 PM

If Bowden did the job at Clemson that Richt did at Georgia, Bowden would probably still be the head coach at Clemson.

Two (2) Conference Championships

Six (6) Division Championships

Nine (9) seasons with ten (10) or more wins

A win/loss record of 9 - 5 in Bowl games

A record of 12 - 2 against your in-state rival.

Other than beating our in-state rival on a consistent basis, Bowden never came even remotely close to Richt's accomplishments.

Re: Nah.... I agree with that statement.

Dec 21, 2015, 4:25 PM

I just mean losing games he shouldn't, not living up to preseason hype. He was way more successful at uga. But over the last 5 years things were slipping. I think he took them as far as he could. Not saying this guy will do better. Time will tell on that .

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

But with that being said.

Dec 21, 2015, 4:38 PM

I hope your right and it does come back to bite them. Cause I freaking hate Georgia!

Plus...

Dec 21, 2015, 8:01 PM [ in reply to Nah.... ]

He had a slightly better winning % than the legendary Dooley. The one national title is the only thing separating Dooley from Richt.

I agree, there will be regret in Athens.

What I love about his post...

Clemson is gathering the most talented, hard working and honest boys from the Southeast. We play a big part in the SEC's demise. Don't you just love it?

Unfortunately your right about that. They'll all be over rated in preseason polls and loss after loss they'll remain in the top 25. Tragic really.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No matter how far they fall, they'll still be the greatest.
