I would lean to LSU, but they don't have a QB and haven't recruited on in 15 or 16.
I will say UGA because of Eason. A QB can do wonders for a team. Lucky for Smart he has one he didn't have to recruit.

I agree that they could have gotten any coach anywhere , except one. And they choice a unproven guy.

Just always saw him as Georgia's Tommy Bowden. Think he'll do a lot better in Miami. Don't think his heart was at uga.

If Bowden did the job at Clemson that Richt did at Georgia, Bowden would probably still be the head coach at Clemson.
Two (2) Conference Championships
Six (6) Division Championships
Nine (9) seasons with ten (10) or more wins
A win/loss record of 9 - 5 in Bowl games
A record of 12 - 2 against your in-state rival.
Other than beating our in-state rival on a consistent basis, Bowden never came even remotely close to Richt's accomplishments.

I just mean losing games he shouldn't, not living up to preseason hype. He was way more successful at uga. But over the last 5 years things were slipping. I think he took them as far as he could. Not saying this guy will do better. Time will tell on that .

He had a slightly better winning % than the legendary Dooley. The one national title is the only thing separating Dooley from Richt.
I agree, there will be regret in Athens.

Clemson is gathering the most talented, hard working and honest boys from the Southeast. We play a big part in the SEC's demise. Don't you just love it?

Unfortunately your right about that. They'll all be over rated in preseason polls and loss after loss they'll remain in the top 25. Tragic really.
