Observations from the game..

Also, what are your observations? Here were mine. Agree, disagree? What did you see today?
1. D is going to be great. 2. Bryant truly doesn't throw the ball well. 3. Nick looks like the backup. 4. Tucker Israel actually has some potential. 5. Choice is the clear number 2 rb and is a stud. 6. Wilkins is amazing. 7. Our DE's will be a strength again next season.

gosh its so hard to tell when the teams are split up this way.
My observations are: - DW4 did what he does - Tay Scott is back in a big way - Oline looked really good and deep - DE's looked good, esp Ferrell - Dline looks great with a lotta length, and a good push - the 2ndary looked a little lost at times, far to many wide open WRs - Choice looks ready to go - WRs- Thompson, and Ray Ray flashed nicely at times. Renfrow was a standout early on

It was hard to tell how Chad Smith, Tre Lamar, Tanner Muse, or Rashaun Smith played. I was hoping to be able to tell, but I just couldn't.

Tre and Shaq impressed the heck outta me. I didn't see much of Muse or Smith tho. Our LB are stacked

Love, love, love your observation about the Oline! That problem appears to be solved. Next...Special Teams! Go Tigers!

1. Special teams problems are still unanswered.
2. Seth Ryan is working hard for some playing time.
3. Lack of experience on D will not be a problem.
4. D line is going to cause problems for offenses.

Pretty much agree...

Tough to tell about the secondary though. Was it a bust with Ray Ray's TD or just a great move on his part? Hard to pick apart a divided first team on both sides of the ball.

Basically this was a scrimmage for the fans. That wind was very bad out there and the QBs did the best they could. Even Watson had a little trouble with it. Bryant is by far the backup. He gives you what Nick doesn't: escapability and speed. A few times guys barely got a finger on him and he was called down. In a game, BIG yards.
One thing is for sure. Spence is not the answer. Special teams still need to be an emphasis.
Teams were split up. I wonder in the future if it's possible to start scrimmaging other teams rather than each other. That would be more useful.

Uh, Israel got out played by the practice squad QB....

and Bryant didn't play as bad as you made it out to be. He needs to work on timing and being patient, but to say he doesn't throw the ball well is far form the truth.

1. D is going to be great. Agree,I don't see alot of drop off from last year, especially on the front 7.
2. Bryant truly doesn't throw the ball well. Disagree, he does throw the ball well. But seems to lack confidence.
3. Nick looks like the backup. If he is...better HOPE, hope Watson stays healthy.
4. Tucker Israel actually has some potential. Too early to tell.
5. Choice is the clear number 2 rb and is a stud. totally agree, can't wait to see him in 016
6. Wilkins is amazing. Yep, and the entire DL!!
7. Our DE's will be a strength again next season. Sure!
Let me add, that Special teams looks to STILL be a problem!

1 - Kelly locks on to his primary receiver . 2 - offensive line looks great. 3 - Defensive backs need to improve 4 - DW4 is superman 5 - Dye and Choice would be a starter on most teams
