- People stop, even in a 4 lane median divided road - for any emergency vehicle. And I mean block traffic stop. In their lane.
- They measure distance in time, not miles ( but the speed limit on the interstates is 80 mph)
- Except for a family of 5 from whoknowswhere in Yellowstone, I could could all the Obeds I saw in 11 days on 1 hand and still have room for 3 Natty rings.
- Dang country is beautiful out there.

Where are you staying and what are the costs like around the area generally? Is it pet friendly?

Hotel prices are high right now, should fall after Labor day

Very pet friendly. Wish we could have taken our dog.
Look to stay in Jackson, West Yellowstone, Big Sky or some cabins close to there. Cody is 40 miles from the park, 65 from YS lake, but the drive west into the park is scary.
