OT: What would you do?

Nov 1, 2018, 6:11 AM

My boss is an amateur pilot, not a big football fan, and has no real ties to Clemson or SCAR.

He was asked to pick up Lou Holtz today, fly him to a speaking engagement a few hours away, then fly him home. I am not sure whether he agreed to do it or not. If you found yourself (as a Clemson fan) in the same situation, would you do it? What would you talk about for 6-7 hours of flight time?

Would absolutely do it. Like him or not, Holtz is a very interesting dude who has done a lot in his life. He is a great storyteller (when you can understand him), and has been so many places and seen so many things. I would love to ask him about the 0-11 season and the Clemson-SCAR brawl.

First thing first. Will you really be able to understand what he is talking on a small plane?

Just make sure you wear a rain suit and goggles. You could get spit on.
