OT- Clemson Soccer Outlook

Mens soccer starts in a few weeks. I know that we lost a few great players but does anyone have an idea how we will be this year? Do we have a squad that could make a run?

Met Noonan one time back when I was coaching with Furman United...dude actually walked into a roomful of Furman coaches at Steadman Hawkins Ortho's big disneyland complex there in G-ville a few years back - all of whom were much-beholded to Furman legend Doug Allison - and won us over.

Sharp. Congenial. Thoughtful. Insightful. Not the slightest bit surprised the dude has built a big winner there at Clemson. I actually think he has the chops for MLS if they ever decide to look his way.

We're lucky to have him.

of some of the coaching hires made by Clemson in its non-revenue sports. The hiring of Coach Noonan was not one of them. I liked this hire form the very beginning.
