Thanks trump, but I think we can make our own arrangements on food. We don't want to get bloated like you. He is not very healthy and neither are his eating habits. This is not political, he really is a unhealthy eater.

Cater??? There is a huge kitchen in the WH and chefs that could make a great meal for the team. No caterers needed!!

It wouldn't matter one little bit if Trump served food at $2,000 a head or $1 a head - or anywhere in between. He'd still get crucified for whatever he served and whatever the cost.

Don't you get it by now? We must get rid of Donald so a REAL anti-American, commie traitor like Hillary, Michelle O, Chuckie S or Biden can finish us off. God help us.

You're really complaining about 5 billion for a wall when the Democrats just tried to send $12 billion of our budget to foreign countries that are not our allies at best and hostile at worst?

Or how the dozens of billions our previous president sent to Egypt, Iran, Syria, etc.?

Good god dont be such a hypocrite. At least securing the borders is part of our government's constitutional duties. Funding terrorists with billions of taxpayer dollars is not.

It’s actually not whataboutism. Whataboutism is when you justify one because of another when they’re wholly unrelated.

If you’re talking about actual cost, if something is relatively inexpensive compared to other, seemingly less-important endeavors, then it is highly relevant to compare the cost of the wall to other government endeavors.

There are many people on the internet, some may be American, some may be Russian, Chinese or Iranian. One thing I am certain of is those who sow division are not patriots. We need to focus on the things which unite US. I disagree with most people about many things, but I can still love them and want what is best for them. I can still pray for them even I do not approve of their behavior. Should have gone with more local great foods, even if just pizzas, subs, etc. I am sure DC has some great places. McDonalds? I am sure DC has better.

No doubt our team would be going if the President were someone else. It’s not about the President it’s about Clemson. So to all you Coots bashing our White House visit go jump! Or maybe you’re Russians? Not sure which is worse, but real Tigers are excited about our team being #1 & all the perks that come with it. Keep being angry & miserable Russian Coots! Go Tigers!!!

Deal with it. And if the other party was in office, I would want them to go as well. And I would deal with it just fine. Go Tigers!

I don't get it.

I think it's pretty crappy to shut down the government and use 800,000 employees as political pawns to try to save face over an absurd promise of a wall stretching coast to coast.

Re: Is it still cool not to care?

The people voted him into office and one of the main things they wanted was a more secure border.

I didnt vote for him but others did.

The Dems are holding up the budget over a drop in the bucket in regards to our yearly budget. That is a fact. 5 Billion when you are talking about a budget in the 4 trillion dollar range isnt jack shit.

Also, it won't be a wall coast to coast you should really educate yourself before throwing in your two cents.

I also love how in your mind only one side is using the 800k workers as pawns.

Dems wanted a wall back in 2006. Hillary and Obama have both said very similar things about enforcement of illegal immigration, and Obama deported tons of illegal immigrants and was responsible for a lot of the photos that were attributed to Trump's administration. The only reason they are opposing Trump on this is for political/election purposes with their base. So quit trying to demonize a guy for simply, for once, actually trying to enforce existing laws that are already on the books and advocate for things that both sides have wanted in the past. Also, Trump said previously that he wasn't going to continue to sign these short-term spending bills to fund the government. It's time for Congress to actually do their job.

Trump turned down 20-25 billion. That was his second mistake. His first mistake was saying Mexico had the bill for our wall covered. Then he followed it with lie after lie after that. Por ejemplo, he said there were 4k terrorists caught at our southern border. Turns out there hasn't been one. Nobody takes him seriously anymore.

DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT THE BORDER PATROL HAS CAUGHT NO TERRORISTS, GANG MEMBERS, MURDERERS OR DRUG DEALERS AT OUR BORDER. SON YOU MAY NEED TO STRAY OFF INTO THE REAL WORLD FOR A BIT.

Yes, the border potrol has caught zero terrorists at our southern border. That's according to the US State Department. You need to learn what the definition of a terrorist is while you are at it.
