Would be good to get him as we may have a need for a center.

I hope CU does not go after him. Did you see he has had a stroke? I'm surprised his doctors have not told him to stop playing...

Yeah it is one thing if the guy is there and it happens. I sure wouldn't bring him in now. Big liability issues

He played for a year after recovery

So it may not be as big a deal as you say.

But I don't see him being picked up by us. He's a graduate level player so not good for more than one or two seasons. And our pipeline is decently 2 deep right now. If he doesn't want or need any scholarship and pays his way or gets an academic scholarship, maybe you let him walk on.

I bet there are plenty of other schools who seriously need to plug a gap with someone like him.

"Decently two deep?"

I would completely, completely disagree.

We have two guards with any kind of experience, Crowder and McClain. Neither was a full-time starter last year.

We have two centers who have had medical problems. Norton basically played with one arm last year and while I credit him with gutting it out he was a liability. Guillermo had that foot injury and now he's out with unspecified medical problems. I could live with Guillermo if he returns and is in football shape and healthy; I'd really prefer not to have to start Norton.

We could probably use this guy. Personally I think he could step right in and start at C for us.

Plays center and guard sign him up because we need all the help we can at those two positions

Every board I've been to this morning has this as an OP. Since he is from AZ or NM I expect he will transfer closer to home.
