Old Ball Sack scheduled a practice that most players couldn't attend because of exams. He didn't know. That shows how much he cares about their education.

What an ignorant statement! Being learning disabled doesn't mean that they can't learn, just that they have to be taught in a different manner.

the "learning disability" waver has been abused repeatedly, then you're as a big a fake as that post.
Just to give you ONE example: UTenn won the NC in 1998. In 1999, eleven of the 50 scholarships (approx) on the two-deep roster had been admitted under the LD clause---NONE of them would have been admitted otherwise. And if you'd like to check that percentage against the reality of "learning disability" in society, you're more than welcome to........
The SEC is not the only conference to continually pass "smoke and mirror regulations" (like recruiting cap numbers) to make it seem as if their conference schools are abiding by some sort integrity in their football program---but they've certainly been the poster child for abuse.

Did I ever say that it hadn't been abused? No. But as an educator, the insinuation that learning disabled students have no business in college is what angers me. That's all I will say about that.
