Now its getting windy.

Rained pretty hard all night and this morning. Rain has slacked off a bit and the wind gusts have really picked up. Power keeps blinking, but somehow we still have it for now.

Power came back on about 3 hours after

I posted this. My neighbor had 2 massive oaks come down in his back yard. Ruined a fence, a shed, and part of his house. Unrelated, but he still doesn’t have power back.

local news said we had gusts in the harbor

To 78 mph. Were about a mile from the harbor so we were prob in that range.

We never saw the 115 mph gusts that ventusky.com and other sites said we’d have.

In 2004 i was on my roof patching a hole a tree put through it it during Gaston in a 90 mph gust. I must be getting old because I wont stay for another one that is equal to or greater than what we had today.
