I can't for the life of me figure this out...

We will have beaten two 10-2 top 10 teams and an 11-2 top 15 team.

Bama's most impressive game will be...a loss to a top 15 Ole Miss team? That lost 3 games including one to Memphis.

Maybe, they end up w/ 4 top 25 wins, but no top 20 wins.

Florida--probably drops to 20 or 21
LSU that may jump UF and go to 20
Tennessee probably stays where they are
Wisconsin may jump into top 25 if Temple loses; maybe Ms St jumps back in?

Our problem is this...

We played some top competition, but too many 4-8 or 3-9 teams...
BC (3-9)
Wake (3-9)
GT (3-9)
SC (3-9)
SU (4-8)

The entire SEC west finished at 6-6 or better, so guess the argument is that while we would have much better top end wins, Bama had a tougher game most weeks, with no marquee wins.

Plus, SC beat NC, which hurts and Auburn beat L'ville which also hurts...both in week one and both games where the ACC team outplayed the SEC team...but the W went to the SEC.
