Tennessee doesn't hold a candle to us unless they're wanting to go ancient history to the Fulmer era when they weren't an atrocious football team like they are today. Sad that we even pull for those losers to be good so they can beat SCar. They suck out loud yet somehow have been doing an ok job with beating SCar. Terrible state other than Nashville and absolutely awfully ran football program. They don't care if players graduate. They took a recruit that was convicted of ###### his on family member with a broomstick. Just pathetic all around.

Technically, yep...Canes have 6 currently on NFL rosters, Clemson has 5, TN and USC (the real one) both have 3.

But who is producing more? just being on a roster isn't more important than production.

We are easily.
regular season stats: D. Hopkins 1,210 yds Clemson S. Watkins 982 yds Clemson A. Johnson 936 yds Miami A. Hurns 677 yds Miami M. Bryant 528 yds Clemson D. Hester 504 yards Miami J. Hunter 498 yds Tenn (D.Allen and A. Ellington in between btw, just not WR's) C.Patterson 384 yds Tenn T. Benjamin 314 yds Miami J. Brown 229 yds Clemson (Spiller in between, not a WR) D. Moore 115 yds Tenn
Did not play in 2014: L. Hankerson (out knee injury 2014...68 catches in 2012 & 2013) Miami LaRon Byrd (1 career catch in 4 years) Miami Jacoby Ford (released in August 2014 by the Raiders...to play for Titans in 2015)
With this, ex-Clemson player combined total yardage was 2,949 yds. Ex-miami was 2,431, ex-Tennessee was a mere 997 combined (just barely over what Watkins did alone).
Use that info as you wish.

Two things:
Apr 29, 2015, 6:48 PM
|
|
1. I swear - half of that used to be black & white and was colorized
2. Half of that was so old the T on the helmet was a Roman numeral T.

Man i have been replaying that move that Hopper made on that dude. He has so much talent and speed. I hope he explodes onto the scene this season. He just needs to learn to catch and stay focused.

they've actually put guys in the NFL at WR.
Tenessee has Meacham and Patterson, and Patterson was only there for a year.

I love how the first one said, "Don't call it a comeback..."
Apr 29, 2015, 6:41 PM
|
|
but the last video they made is called, "Get Back". So, do they honestly believe they never lost it, or that their time is coming again? Either way, they're certainly recruiting much more like the UT of old. I for one don't mind that their marketing department can't keep a consistent theme throughout a week. That's a definitive strength I've noticed since D-Rad came in. I think the guy is a heck of an AD. I know he's not responsible for sending out tweets or whatever is on these internet signs, but we seem to have taken it to the next level on the marketing of CU, its athletics, and our overall brand.
They're on the rise from where they were post-Fulmer, but I'm about as worried about playing UT in football as I would be matching up our respective marketing departments.

Tennessee has nothing on Clemson...
Apr 30, 2015, 10:29 AM
|
|
They're a "has been program" with good tradition, which doesn't equate to anything on the football field today. Clemson dominates them in WR production & placing guys in the NFL.
We'd also dominate them on the field, just like we did back in the Peach Bowl last time we played them.
Go Tigers!
