Does the NCAA need to add a couple more teams to the tournament. Say go to 72. Seriously, there is no way a team like Southern Cal should ever finish 2nd in a power conference and not make the tournament. Something's just not right with that. Not to mention Oklahoma St getting left out after beating both Oklahoma and Kansas twice, but somehow Oklahoma gets in. I'm still trying to figure out how Syracuse made it over Louisville. This may be the worst seeded tournament I ever remember.

I always thought the pla in games should be for 16 seed. Why should a team deserving of an 11 seed have to play their way in?

The four 11-seed teams that are in play in games are the Last Four In. The four 16 seeds that are in play-in games are actually conference champions/automatic qualifiers that are the lowest seeded.
