I brought this up the other day.

The acc.com list him with 27. I got replies saying it was a typo but when the sentence includes "to lead all defensive tackles" its not a mere switcheroo. I noticed it earlier.in the season during a game broadcast when he was credited with 50 tackles when he actually had 15.

I'm not trying to play down what he's done because he has very quickly made his way into the guys I watch a lot during games. I'm amazed at the athleticism and strength he has especially for a true frosh. He's a future All American. Gonna be fun to watch him and Dexter Lawerence line up shoulder to shoulder.

Very true. He's been outstanding. For whatever reason, our DTs & CBs don't make many tackles. It's mostly the LBs, DEs & Safetys. Maybe scheme.

No love for long snapper Jim Brown?

Dec 27, 2015, 7:16 AM

No bad snaps all year, with all those bad weather games, under all that pressure? And for a first year starter who had all of three plays going in? A walkon who graduated but came back to get his opportunity? Who hustled downfield after every snap, making tackles?

I would think that we of all people would appreciate the underdog.

Not to mention Kakip had 2 forced fumbles as well

Dec 27, 2015, 9:22 AM

The one against Notre Dame was huge as it led to a TD to start the 2nd half.

I really thought this was going to be best overall poster, most improved, most offensive poster, etc.
