They very well could but putting too much stock in polling is not a wise move by either side.

I have been asked by phone and in person several times so far and informed the pollster I was voting BLUE straight down the ballot. They seemed happy and since I never intended to do that why not cheer up persons day? What one never knows it what happens once that curtain closes, much like 2016 when HRC was predicted in a landslide.

A blue wave? I think it will be more of a high tide and they will win a majority but not a landslide. As they say though win by 1 or a 100 it does not matter. In truth Republicans deserve a loss here, the lack of any real postions other than abortion has made me sick. All I see here in SC are abortion ads, just tell me who is gonna fix the dang roads on a State level! What a woman does with her body is not my concern and it is not yours either.

Outcome will still be Trump as President, a Republican Senate and at best a closely divided House with Dems in the Majority positions. Leaving 2 more years of SCOTUS appointments to Trump as the House has no say in confirmations. If the DEMS wanted to really shift the power they should be all in on every Senate race. If by some chance another comes open it will be someone that 100% of the Repub Senate can vote yes on assuring confirmation.

Looking forward to Repub cries of obstruction though , like they were not 100% obstructionist during BHO terms. BHO was not as great nor as evil as both sides like to proclaim, he was a tad left of center and at least seemed to hold some moral,ethical priciples. Plus he did not talk like an addled 6 year old in front of the Nation and World.
