Gallman at linebacker next year. Any chance

They give him a look next year if Feaster comes in and shows out?
I love how hard Gallman plays. I just don't know if he gets drafted in NFL as a RB. Patrick Sapp would have never played in NFL as a QB , but he showed out on defense

Feaster may be the next CJ but he still won't have all the plays down, or the blocking. Feaster will play, but Gallman will start.

Gallman has been arguably our best play on offense this year. I think the last thing on the coaches' minds is moving him.

I dont see Gallman moving to LB but Fuller

Or MAYBE Dye will move there but highly doubtful. I do see maybe 1 or 2 RBs transferring after this season with Feaster coming in. Gallman, Dye, Brooks, Davidson, Fuller, Choice, and Feaster will all be on scholarship next yr. I don't think we need 7 RBs on scholarship. I see Dye and maybe Fuller transferring

With Chad Smith redshirting, Joseph coming back healthy, Boulware the rock, Tre Lamar coming in, Wiggins coming back along with McDaniel and Williams returning, we are set at LB. Did I leave anyone out?

I agree. The point I'm trying to make is that we will have too many RBs on scholarship next year so i could potentially see 1 or 2 of them switching positions or transferring. Imo, we only need 4 RBs on scholarship.

Well, just like OL, I dont think you can have too many. Gallman and Feaster will get the majority, Davidson and Brooks are gone, that leaves Fuller, Dye and Choice. I think we will be fine carrying 5 next year. If Fuller or Dye leave, then you have your four.

Gallman will get the chance to be an NFL running back. Feaster has had some injury issues already

I don't think this was a serious question and I'm not sure why it keeps being asked. The kid is averaging around 100 ypg but you wanna move him to LB? Even if Feaster shows out from day one there's no way u move him.

Kind of nice to have more than 1 stud RB on the roster. Gallman, Feaster, Choice. We're going to be tough. Those guys on the field, and me from my laptop and favorite chair.

How can you not think Gallman is an NFL running back?
He doesn't have that fifth gear that would make him a breakaway guy, sure, so he won't be a first-rounder, but he's NFL all the way. He reads his blocks well, accelerates 0-60 as fast as anybody, and never, ever goes down on first contact.
He could stand to put on another few pounds - and I think he's going to - and he could stand to refine his catching a bit out of the backfield, but aside from the lack of true burner's speed there's not much for the NFL scouts to knock down.
Nor do I really see Feaster just coming in and taking his job. Feaster will get his carries...as several have mentioned, in a James Davis/CJ Spiller sort of way.

Feaster...

I have watched enough film on Feaster, which doesn't take much, to notice he has some of the best hands I have ever seen on a RB. We can completely get Feaster and Gallman involved. I know you agree, but I am just adding on to what you stated.

Gallman to LB, Watson to Safety and Hyatt to SDE. Sound about right?
