yes, on the max end MLB players make more money, but those first three years are pretty lean (relatively speaking), and even once you make it to MLB you have three years of arbitration where the contract is going to max out at like $5M.

Over the course of his career he'd make more in baseball, but that's assuming he's going to make it to the majors and stick for a long time.

Nolan Arenado is projected to make 27m in his third year of arbitration this year. Francisco Lindor 11m in his first year. The system is progressive for the three years, as you make more every year if you perform

He plays MLB without hesitation. Kid is a phenomenal baseball player thus the big $4.5 million he’s already signed up for.
