Where an undefeated Clemson is left out this year.

An undefeated p5 conference champ will not be left out in favor of a team who is neither.

The entire structure of the playoffs would crumble.

Not going to happen.

The undefeated national champ will not be left out for a team with a loss. That would be the end of the CFP as constructed.
