Toddlers at the stadium need tickets.

Jan 2, 2017, 11:59 AM

I just called Raymond James Stadium, and they said that EVERY person (even infants) need to purchase a ticket. This policy is different from Bucs games and the Outback Bowl.

Can anyone confirm? I understand, but kinda disappointed.

why bring a little kid to that? To insure everyone including the kid is miserable?

Amen.

Jan 2, 2017, 12:13 PM

Toddlers? Infants? That is what relatives and trusting friends are for. "Oooh, let's bring our two month old to Tampa so he can say he was at the game!" Child, please...

I have a 2 year old, and he's staying with Grandma for this game. He won't remember it, and it's not worth the money/hassle to bring him.

I can't imagine having to put up with some tantrum at a critical point in the game--I want to see/remember everything, and that would be tough with a little one. Just my 2 cents, leave the toddler at home for this one.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I want to say he was there...

Jan 2, 2017, 12:18 PM

Yeah, I wouldn't enjoy the game as much. But if it was no extra cost, I can deal with missing a bit of the game.

You are right about a 8 PM game not being a place for a child but you are 100% wrong about thinking purposefully spilling a drink on a child is the right thing to do.

Guessing based on that comment you yourself are still a child.

Wow...so much hate for the guy asking a simple question. It's his child and I think he knows what's best for his child over any of you.

For the guy saying he would purposely spill drinks on the parent and kids...you are a piece of trash. No kid deserves that regardless of how much you might not like the parent.

I don't know about him and his kid, but um, ever been out anywhere? A lot of parents don't know jack shizz about what's good for their kids.

Kids older than 2 are supposed to have a ticket in Death Valley, so that's not surprising.

Look, it's your decision, but I think you should find an alternative even if they get in free. My 3 year old's bedtime is 8:00 so there's no way I would consider taking her to a game that starts after that. Not trying to be critical of you as a parent, but I think you're doing a disservice to the kid, yourself, and those sitting around you.

I will be taking my son to his first ever game when he is approx 3 but I can promise you one thing... It will not be the NC game it will be against an FCS school that way I dont care if we leave early and it sure as hell won't have a 8:00 + start time.

A late game is no place for a Toddler. He will be miserable.

Toddlers should be banned from flights and stadiumx

Jan 2, 2017, 2:41 PM

Nothing is worse than having a baby cry in your ear after spending hundreds of dollars on airline or game tickets. Not everyone thinks your kid is cute or special. They quite frankly ruin events for adults.

But really? Taking an infant/toddler to the 9:00 national championship game??

We will be back to win another natty once he/she is a little older ;)

Re: Toddlers at the stadium need tickets.

Don't do it man, keeping a toddler up that late is one mean, and two he/she is going to lose it when they're up so late past bedtime not to mention you will ruin everyone else's time around you. Death Valley is one thing, but the natty is another.

also, kudos for you for wanting to take a 2 year old to a game that starts at 830pm. I unvented mine to the basketball game tomorrow night because I didn't want to miss the game for having to escort him up and down the steps for his entertainment again this week.
