Clemson has only outscored 1 opponent in the last 8 games in the 4th Quarter (FSU).
In the first 4 games Clemson was not outscored in the 4th quarter at all.
Not a good trend.

Did against the buck nuts last year. It was glorious on soundoff with every single fan base laying into them about having backups put in against them in a CFP bowl game.

we are playing our 2's and 3's, and even 4's in garbage time...which means we are ahead.
Yes, garbage points against us suck, but it gets the reserves meaningful playing time. Do you think SC would've scored 10 points if we had left the starters in the 4th quarter?

Maybe we shouldn't. Miami got down 14 points twice to UVA and they jumped us in the rankings.
It seems the committee probably isn't looking for teams that are up 34-0 going to the 4th.
