Not OK but maybe Gophers for beating a good PennSt Team.

Looks like OU escaped 42-41

there’s absolutely no reason for OU to be that high***

Utah and Oregon dropping during a bye week seems...unseemly***

There is no reason for Georgia to be #4. They lost to USC who is 4-6 and just lost at home to a sunbelt team. Alabama who has no defense just played LSU to the wire and they are behind Georgia. This is nonsense. Both teams deserve to be lower. If PSU was good enough to be ranked above Clemson then Minnesota should be ranked above any and all 1 loss teams.

That’s what I’ve been wondering - penn state was #4, undefeated Minnesota beats them and they get no consideration for top 6?

I agree that OU is showing their defensive weaknesses again, but who are you going to put in the no 6 spot? Realistically, they are probably as good as anyone for that spot. At this point in the season, there is Clemson and Lsu and then everyone else. Not even sure it really makes a difference who you put where, at this point. Uga cant pass. Bammer just showed their not the same on defense. Penn st got beaten by a good but not dominant Minnesota team. Actually, maybe Minnesota should be there. Oregon? Wisconsin? Utah? I dont believe anyone has really distinguished themselves. Its a big ole mess

Oklahoma? Really?!

Nov 9, 2019, 11:52 PM

Don’t even get me started on UGA @ 4

UGA has some good wins. Whereas Bama really doesn't.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They have a much worse loss than Bama though***

What is more important, good wins or a bad loss?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You can’t lose to a non-bowl team at home when they are playing

Nov 9, 2019, 11:58 PM

their third string QB is playing half the game and steal a playoff spot from an undefeated Big12 or B1G team. Please stop trying to sell UGA to us.

Re: You can’t lose to a non-bowl team at home when they are playing

Nov 10, 2019, 12:54 AM

Yes. 100% correct. The thought of Georgia being #4 is absolute nonsense. How do they get a bye on the U of S.C. loss. I’ll say it again. If PSU was good enough to be ranked above Clemson last week then there is no way Minnesota should be ranked below any 1 loss team. And certainly not a team we will most certainly beat with our third string playing the entire game.

who the best teams are. That’s proven ridiculous at this point. Resume is the only reasonable metric.
